The need to find a quality daycare center

I have been a working mum before, and a stay at home mum too. I think both has it pros and cons. If my mum was not able to take care of my child, I will probably quit my job right after my maternity leave ends. In other words, I think if you have someone that you can trust, reliable when you are away from your child to work, you will be at peace and relief when you are working.

My friend shared with me about the incidence that happen to her baby at one particular daycare center; the care-taker gave her baby cough syrup so that the baby will cry lesser and sleep more. My friend was alert, she noticed that her baby was not as active as usual, constantly drowsy. She brought her baby to see the doctor, and doctor confirmed, and remind her to be careful in selecting a daycare center. In addition to that, the doctor said that it is a quite common scenario.

I listened. I was speechless. I empathized my friend's feeling. Her alertness brought her baby to immediate attention.
It is sad when you came across daycare center that put profit first before the child's well-being.

They are few requirements that I would take into consideration when I select a daycare, there are;

1. The daycare center must have their daycare operating licence.
2. The daycare assistant  must have strong knowledge in taking care child, in other words, they must have a certification.
3. The daycare center assistant must have knowledge in handling emergency situation, like CPR.
4. The security of the center, the cleanliness of the center must be taken into consideration, as well.

Just my two cents, I hope you will have a good weekend. Enjoy with everyone at home. Take a break! :)
